Social and Cultural Advancements
Siegel’s Flamingo had many fun components to it that many people like to go and return for more of the fun. Socially, gambling can have a multitude of people who enjoy it, and if they enjoy it, they would ask their friends to do it, making the casino have a surplus of people to gamble. When gambling is looked at in a cultural way, it can be found in many different places, especially at someplace local. Rafflings, lottery, and the internet are places that gambling can be found.
Gambling is used to bring in money for the participators and the government. Socially,gambling can lead to breakthroughs of money and revenue for the government, and because it is a cultural thing to do, it can lead to more of an influence upon the economy and the people that find it interesting.
Before the Flamingo, there were only three casinos and a very small population.
The population before the flamingo was 5,165 people and the casinos were El Cortez, the Last Frontier, and the Golden Nugget.
